A Tote Taxi comes with every order.
Every confirmed package includes one HDX 27-gallon Tote Taxi, one colored security tie and one removable room label per tote. Packages of 20 or more also include a marker. Match a color to each room, secure the lid after packing, then cut the tie when you unpack.
Need a larger rolling surface?
Add our folding platform cart for $19 per move. It has a 35.43 × 23.23 inch platform, securing strap, and a manufacturer-stated 820 lb load rating. The cart returns with the totes.

Different job, different tote
The Small Sort Set handles the little stuff.
Forty clear 6.5-quart HDX Defender weatherproof latching totes give pantry goods, craft supplies, office items, hardware, cords, and small toys their own visible place. The 14-day set is $89, includes the Tote Taxi, colored ties, labels, and a marker, and stays separate from the large moving-tote packages.
Normal wear is included. Missing or irreparably damaged small totes are $7 each. Tote Peace of Mind waives the charge for accidental damage or loss.

Market check, September 2026: a national retailer listed a 30-box two-room kit with tape, a marker, and bubble wrap at about $60. Cardboard prices change by store. Moving-company prices vary by crew, distance, stairs, timing, and services, so we do not quote them here.

- Can I reserve moving totes before you confirm inventory?
- Yes. Send the reservation with your date, package, and both addresses. We verify the exact tote model, count, delivery window, route price, and tax before collecting the $50 hold. If we cannot confirm it, you owe nothing.
- Do I have to bring the totes back?
- No. We deliver the empty stack and return for pickup. When the route works, pickup can be at your new address so you do not have to drive empty totes back across town.
- What are the small totes for?
- The Small Sort Set includes 40 clear 6.5-quart latching totes for pantry goods, crafts, office supplies, hardware, cables, small toys, and other loose items. It is a separate package from our large moving totes.
- How many totes should I rent?
- Ten is a practical start for a dorm, office, or focused room. Twenty fits many one-bedroom moves. Thirty gives a two- to three-bedroom move more breathing room. Heavy book collections, kitchens, garages, and children’s rooms fill totes faster, so tell us what you are moving and we will help you choose.
- What does delivery cost?
- Delivery and pickup start at $49. We calculate the exact route using both addresses and disclose it before payment. Stairs, long carries, and routes outside the local service ring may change the price.
- I am moving to North Carolina or Georgia. Can you pick up there?
- Yes. We deliver empty totes anywhere in our South Carolina service area and can collect the packed-out stack at your new place in NC or GA. Drive time and gas are added to the route price and shown to you before any payment. For many families that still beats buying a truckload of boxes or driving the totes back.
- What if I need another week?
- An additional week is $30 when arranged before the scheduled pickup and availability allows. Contact us early so another reservation is not built around your return date.
- What happens if a tote gets scratched or damaged?
- Normal moving wear is included. Each large tote that is missing or irreparably damaged is charged at $29, and each small tote at $7. Or add Tote Peace of Mind for $15 per order and that charge is waived for accidental damage or loss. Deliberate damage, fire, or totes never returned are still charged, and your belongings are not insured by the tote rental.
