Waiver v1.0

Rental waiver and safety agreement

Every event needs one signed waiver from the adult renting the equipment. It takes about two minutes and can be done before delivery day.

Read our full rental policies

1. Rental agreement

This agreement is between Carolina Celebration Rentals ("we," "us," or "the company") and the person signing below ("the renter"). It covers every inflatable, bumper car arena, foam cannon experience, table, chair, and accessory delivered for the event listed on this form.

Equipment remains the property of the company at all times. It may not be moved, relocated, disassembled, or handed to another party once it has been set up. The renter is responsible for the equipment from the time of setup until our crew has picked it up.

An adult of at least eighteen years of age must be present at delivery to approve the setup location and again at pickup.

2. Assumption of risk

Inflatable play equipment, bumper cars, obstacle courses, water slides, and foam activities involve physical activity, and physical activity carries risk. Those risks include, but are not limited to, slips, falls, collisions between participants, sprains, fractures, cuts, bruises, concussion, and in rare circumstances serious injury.

The renter understands these risks, accepts them voluntarily for themselves and for every participant they invite, and confirms that participation is entirely voluntary.

Foam play makes surfaces slippery. Water use makes surfaces slippery. Participants should expect wet or foam-covered ground and move accordingly.

3. Release of liability and indemnification

To the fullest extent allowed by South Carolina law, the renter releases Carolina Celebration Rentals, its owners, employees, and contractors from claims for injury, illness, death, or property loss arising out of the ordinary use of the rented equipment, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold the company harmless from claims brought by guests, participants, or third parties arising out of the renter's use or supervision of the equipment at the event.

Nothing in this agreement waives any right that cannot lawfully be waived.

4. Supervision requirement

A responsible adult must actively supervise every attraction at all times while it is in use. Supervision means watching the unit, not being nearby.

The supervising adult is responsible for enforcing rider limits, keeping participants of similar size grouped together, and stopping play when conditions become unsafe.

Children may never be left unattended in or around any unit, including a deflating unit.

5. Safety rules the renter agrees to enforce

No shoes, glasses, jewelry, food, drinks, gum, silly string, confetti, or sharp objects inside any inflatable.

No flips, no wrestling, no piling on, no climbing on walls, netting, or the outside of any unit.

Observe the posted rider count and rider size limits for each attraction.

Everyone exits immediately if the blower stops, if power fails, if wind picks up, or if lightning is seen or thunder is heard.

The bumper arena requires a flat, hard, level surface. It may not be operated on grass, gravel, slopes, or uneven ground.

No pets on or near the equipment. No smoking, grills, fire pits, or open flame within fifteen feet of any unit.

6. Site, power, and access

The renter confirms the setup area is clear of pet waste, sprinkler heads, rocks, sticks, and glass, and that there are no underground utilities where anchor stakes will be driven. Call 811 before your event if you are unsure.

The renter provides a grounded outlet within one hundred feet of each unit on a circuit that is not shared with other heavy loads, or arranges a generator with us in advance.

The renter is responsible for gate access, and for the accuracy of the gate width and setup measurements given to us when booking.

7. Weather

We do not operate inflatables in lightning or sustained high wind. If conditions look unsafe on the morning of the event, we will contact the renter.

If we cancel for weather, the renter may reschedule to any open date or take the retainer back as a credit.

If wind or storms arrive after setup, the renter must clear the unit, shut off the blower, and unplug it at the outlet.

8. Damage and cleaning

Ordinary wear from normal use is expected and is never charged to the renter.

Damage caused by misuse, shoes, food, drinks, silly string, pets, sharp objects, or by ignoring the rules in this waiver is the responsibility of the renter, up to the repair or replacement cost of the item.

Units returned with excessive mud, sand, paint, or pet waste may carry a cleaning charge. Tell us right away if anything tears, deflates, or stops working.

9. Medical authorization

In an emergency where the renter or a participant's guardian cannot be reached, the renter authorizes our staff to call emergency medical services and to permit treatment by qualified medical personnel.

The renter is responsible for any medical costs that result.

10. Photo and video release (optional)

The photo release below is optional and can be declined without affecting the rental.

If accepted, the renter grants permission to use photos or video taken at the event for marketing purposes, without payment. We never publish names, addresses, or contact details.

11. Electronic signature

Typing a full name below is an electronic signature and carries the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.

The signer confirms that they are at least eighteen years old, that they are the renter or the renter's authorized representative, and that they are signing on behalf of every minor participant in their care.

A copy of this signed waiver is retained by Carolina Celebration Rentals and is available on request.
