Church and school guide

The church and school event rental checklist

Church and school events have more people signing off than a backyard birthday. This checklist keeps the approvals moving so nothing stalls the week of.

The short version

  • Ask your facility or district what insurance paperwork they need, then request a certificate from us early.
  • Have every rider's parent sign a waiver before the event.
  • Inflatables come down when sustained wind reaches 15 mph or storms move in.
  • A flat $50 deposit holds the date, and the balance is due up to 2 hours before delivery.

Four to six weeks out: approvals and paperwork

Find out who has to sign off: pastor, facilities committee, principal, district office. Ask each one what they need from a rental vendor. Most will ask for a certificate of insurance naming the church or school.

You can request that certificate online from our certificate of insurance page. Send us the exact name and address they want listed.

  • Written permission from whoever manages the lawn, field or building
  • Certificate of insurance request sent to us
  • Event date, hours and expected headcount confirmed

Two weeks out: waivers and volunteers

Send families the waiver link ahead of time so the line at the gate moves. Plan at least one adult volunteer per attraction to watch the entrance and keep rider counts in check.

The week of: site, power and weather

Walk the setup spot. Grass lets us stake. Pavement and gym floors need sandbags. Every unit needs a reachable outlet or a generator, and a clear path at least 36 inches wide from the truck.

Watch the forecast. If sustained wind reaches 15 mph or thunder rolls in, riders come off and units come down. Every booking includes our Rain Check Promise.

Foam and bumper cars at church and school events

Foam parties are always run by our crew, never dropped off. Bumper cars need a level, approved surface. Tell us early if either is on your list so we can check the site.
